What factors will affect the lifespan of my hardwood floors?
Moisture, dirt and sunlight are the natural enemies of wood floors. Avoid scratches and tiny dents by removing dirt daily and using walk–off mats where practical. Wipe up spills promptly to prevent water damage, and avoid fading and discoloration by keeping shades drawn during times of direct sunlight.
Can I change or improve the look of my existing hardwood floor?

What types of cleaners are best for my hardwood floors?
You should never use ammonia, wax, oil or soap products on wood flooring. Instead, use products that are specifically formulated for use on wood floors. All City Floor Company recommends and carries Pallman/Bona brand cleaning supplies.
